报告

This is a player red card report from the match on October 12th. This is the lowest ever for a referee, only 1 point. I personally feel he didn't deserve even a single point, as the referee can't completely control the heated behavior of the players on both teams during a match. I wouldn't say he treated our team unfairly, but his officiating absolutely wasn’t based on the same standards, and it was completely ineffective. The referee didn’t control the game to keep it in order. Both sides complained about his bad decisions leading to flared tempers and confrontations which could have been avoided. It would have been a much more sporting, enjoyable game if he the referee done a better job. 1. At the end of the first half, our striker Dani was through a one-on-one with the opponent’s goalkeeper inside the penalty area. The opponent's goalkeeper rushed towards our striker and raised his foot high trying to intercept the ball, but he missed without making contact. Instead the underside of his boot struck our player with such force that the studs tore through his underwear (photo exhibit A) and causing traumatic contusion streaks on his abdomen which is clearly visible (photo exhibit B). The ball went out and the referee gave a goal kick instead of a penalty meaning the keeper didn’t touch the ball. If this is the case then the interpretation is if the keeper didn’t touch the ball but made serious contact with our player injuring him, it should have been a penalty. 2. Midway through the second half, the opponent team's defense ran with athe ball into our penalty area. After our defensive player clearly kicked the ball away, the opponent team's offensive player fell. After the opposing player called a penalty call 3-5 seconds later, the referee only called a penalty call 7-8 seconds later. This penalty call was completely unnecessary. The referee decision had absolutely no merit and was entirely based on the opposing player's call. Double standards. 3. In the second half, our player was kicked to the ground by the opposing goalkeeper. The referee did not immediately stop play and continue (our player continued to fall to the ground). After our goalkeeper saved the ball and he moved the goalpost. Our player asked the referee why he didn't look our teammate's injury first. His response was that he had to sort the goalpost first. This is absolutely unacceptable. That was one of three players down and the referee did not stop the game immediately and went over the injured player. How can you let that low standard referee to be the referee in this Yau Yee league. We don’t feel player safety and protection. 4. After the match, our player No. 68 Poon, went to the referee to discuss his officiating standards. The referee threatened our player and saying, "If you use foul language to talk to me, I'll give you a red card." Then our player replied, "How can you see the ball clearly when you're officiating from such a distance?" The referee immediately gave No. 68 Poon a red card without a second thought. Another player, No. 19 NG went to the referee to calm the situation and told him that his judgement was extremely poor. He also gave him a red card. I believe these two red cards could have been avoided without warning. 5. I have strong reason condemn the referee's officiating standards, his unfairness and hope that he will no longer officiate our team's games. If the tournament insists on assigning him to officiate my game, I reserve the right to boycott and withdraw from the that game as a form of protest. 6. The Yau Yee League is regarded as a high standard amateur football competition in Hong Kong. If such low-quality referees officiate and dominate the games, I believe the standard of the Friendship League will only decline, and the high-quality football league will not be promoted to the Hong Kong people. 7. This referee's decisions are often based on players shouting for fouls, which is definitely not the independent decision-making of a referee's normal officiating. 8. I hope the tournament will seriously address the issue of referee officiating. 9. I also hope that the tournament will handle the red card issue for our two players impartially, hoping for leniency and the reversal of the red card decision.
